Big thanks to @ultrafoxmusic for coming in to track their new EP last week, damn did we have a good time! They’ve really got something special, touching on funk, jazz, fusion with elements of indy synth pop, their sound is exciting, the songwriting is incredible and the musicianship out of this world. Topped off with natural chemistry, they’re a band to really watch out for! They really took maximum advantage of our studio, trying out some great new (old) ribbon mics on horns, tracking some wurlitzer and hammond, as well as taping into our vintage amp, guitar and synth collection.
